Admire Abuja National Mosque's Architectural Brilliance

This huge and shiny mosque is one of Abuja's most beautiful national monument. The National Mosque, whose shining dome is described as the most impressive sight in Abuja; houses a library, religious school and a conference hall. There are official guides on ground to take you around and educate you about the history and style adopted for the construction of the spectacular landmark

Visit the National Ecumenical Centre 

Also known as the National Christian Centre, its located on the Independence Avenue and adjacent the Abuja National Mosque. The architectural masterpiece is one of Abuja's prominent monuments and it serves as the venue for many christian events in the city. Visitos can view the impressive interior of the church with its altar which makes a full rotation every ten minutes. 

Relax at the Millenium Park

Definitely one of Abuja's main attractions, this park is also one of the most beautiful places in the city. The large park hosts many visitors from in and out of the city because of its beautiful and amazing green environment. One side of the park is dedicated to its uncontaminated nature. With a system of terraces at different levels are located Nigeria’s mountain vegetation, savanna, deciduous forest, rain forest and brushwood as well as greenhouses for butterflies and tropical birds.

National Children's Park and Zoo

Sitting under the shadow of Aso Rock is this wonderful park and zoo which is a good place for the kids and animal lovers. It features various animals both domestic and wild like Crocodiles, elephants, girrafes, camel, donkeys, monkeys, ostriches, tortoises, wild cats and many more. There's also Lake Cafe nearby where you can get hot snacks and freshly made milkshake.

Millenium Park

Wonderland Amusement Park

Now known as Magicland, the park is located near the Abuja City Gate. Known to be the biggest and most equipped amusement park in Nigeria, the attraction is a good place to visit with kids as its a beehive of activities with various facilities for maximum entertainment. Among the facilities are; a leisure garden 4 relaxation, a restaurant called the fulani ranch, forest cafe and also the shisha cafe, which offers unique and delicious meals. Also available at the park is the elaborate arcade building known as the Fun city arcade.

English is the official language. Other local languages you will likely come across include, Hausa, Gbagyi, Pidgin English, Bassa and many other local languages.
