Nyanga National Park

Osborne Dam Recreational Park
Tucked away from the typical geomorphology of the Eastern Highlands of rolling moorlands, high altitude heath, trout- filled sparkling river waters and lush green undulating slopes, lies a resort of different stamina, the Osborne Dam Recreational Park.The dam, the biggest in Manicaland on the western foot of Mount Jenya, in Mutasa communal lands, is a scenic gem and a tourist attraction that can hold its own.
Chimanimani National Park
This amazing park is situated along the eastern boundary of Chimanimani district (bordering Mozambique) in an area of rugged mountain grandeur, enhanced by many spectacular gorges and high peaks rising to 2436m. It offers activities such as camping, mountain hiking, cave viewing, walking safaris.
Although the city is located in a tropical region, it experiences a temperate climate. The average annual temperature in Mutare is 19 °C and the month of July experiences the coldest temperature while October is the hottest.
The currencies that are acceptable in Zimbabwe include US dollars, South African rand, Botswana pula, British pounds and Euros – and of these the US Dollar is most common and certainly the best one to travel with.
