Hyatt Regency Brand Returns To Sydney, Australia

Having operated in Australia for over 30 Years, Hyatt Hotels has marked the return of the Hyatt Regency Brand with the 892-room Hyatt Regency Sydney. Following the existing Park Hyatt, the hotel becomes Hyatt’s second hotel in Sydney and is set to become a go-to gathering place – a dynamic spot where guests can relax, meet, engage, and recharge.
Having undergone a $250 million refurbishment, the Hyatt Regency Sydney replaces the Starwood-branded Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, and provides an opportunity for Hyatt to build on its Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) leadership in Asia Pacific.
Located in the Sydney Central Business District (CBD) adjacent to Darling Harbour, the property now has a 24-storey tower, a 272-seater all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop open-air bar (opening in late December) and a new Regency Club lounge.
