Often called BA, the airline is the flag carrier and the largest airline in the United Kingdom based on the size of its fleet. The airline started as a government-owned company before being privatised in 1987 and it is a founding member of the Oneworld airline alliance.

With 51 registered to its name, British Airways prides itself as the largest operator of the Boeing 747-400 confirming its status as a long time patroniser of Boeing.  With its slogan ‘to fly, to serve’, the airline offers a loyalty program called the EXECUTIVE CLUB. Members get lots of benefits like access to special lounges and dedicated ‘fast’ queues.
