About Kenya Airways
Nicknamed the ‘African Pride’, Kenya Airways is the national carrier of Kenya and it offers an extensive network of flights across the African continent and beyond. The airline was founded in 1977 and owned by the government of Kenya until 1996 when it became the first African flag carrier to be successfully privatised.
In a bid to reward its loyal customers, Kenya Airways runs a frequent flyer programme which is known as FLYING BLUE and customers are rewarded based on the number of miles they fly. Kenya Airways is also a member of SkyTeam Alliance which is a network of other airlines which gives flyers access to more flights and connectivity to their respective destinations. .
