Activities
Begin your tour from the Champs-Elysées, then visit the Eiffel Tower along the avenue Marceau, passing the famous flame of the Pont de l’Alma.
From the top of the Tower, you can get a very picturesque view of Paris. Take a boat ride and glide down the Seine as far as Notre-Dame.
The Louvre is just half an hour away and awaits you for a made-to-measure tour around the major works of art. You can also visit the Pont des Arts footbridge, the Pont Neuf and the Institut de France…
Climate
The overall climate throughout the year is mild and moderately wet. Summer days are usually warm and pleasant with average temperatures hovering between 15 and 25 °C (59 and 77 °F), and a fair amount of sunshine. Each year, however, there are a few days where the temperature rises above 32 °C (90 °F).
Getting Around
Getting around Paris on foot is very interesting and fun. Apart from it being a form of exercise, you get to see the city's famous attractions on foot. You can also the Metro to get around town. The train service is very efficient and is one of the best in the world. The metro runs from 5am to 12:30am and for the price of a ticket you can ride around all day long if you like. (as long as you don't leave the system).
The bus system is also fantastic, you can take bus rides to wherever you wanna go. It is a very cool way to know the city and do some sightseeing.
Finding a taxi is not a problem in Paris. There are taxi stands all over the city and you can also hail them in the street if the taxi light is bright. If it is dim that means it is occupied. Taxis are relatively inexpensive and the easiest way to get home after a day or night of walking around.
Kids Attractions
Paris is filled with kiddies attractions. You dont need to leave your kids at home. You can take them out and they will surely have a wonderful time in the city. There are various museums where you can visit with the kids. The Museum for Natural History has several galleries devoted to all sorts of animals both past and present.
The city also has child-friendly restaurants and cafes, take them to Relais d’Entrecote where they will get steak and chips or frozen yorghurt at Baci Bisou.
Let them have some outdoor fun also. Visit the Luxembourg gardens and watch the puppet shows.

French is the official language in Paris.

Night Life
Paris is famous for its nightlife. There are various clubs, bars and cafes you can visit to have some few drinks and have fun. You can take a walk and checkout the attractions in Paris. Some of them have fantastically lit up, so be ready to be wowed while exploring the city's nightlife. That's why its called the 'city of lights'.
Restaurants
Paris boasts of many restaurants. Explore French cuisine and visit some of the best restaurants in the world that are in Paris. You can checkout La Table d'Hotes de Hugo Desnoyer and have a taste of the steak they make.
You can have some Onion soup at Les Philosophes. Other cool restaurants include Breizh Cafe, Restaurant Champeaux, Ellsworth and many more.
Shopping
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Paris, shop! Paris is a shopper's paradise. It boasts of one of the finest shopping expereiences anywhere in the world. There are various stores, markets and boutique where you can buy absolutely anything.
Printemps and Galeries Lafayette are two of the most famous stores in Paris. They stock a range of designer brand names and luxury fashions and can be found next door to each other in the 9th arrondissement. If you're looking for homewares or furnishings, then visit BHV in the 4th arrondissement. If you are around the 7th arrondissement, you can shop at Le Bon Marché, It stocks a range of great clothing and has a fantastic food store.
Sightseeing
Explore Paris and see its amazing sights from an an open top bus tour; historical, romantic, fashionable, fun and shopper friendly. Hop off at the Champ de Mars, or Field of Mars, a vast lawn area with wide walking paths crossing scenic lawns. See the incredible Eiffel Tower- one of the most famous and visible icons of Paris. You can journey up the tower to have a breathtaking view of the city.
Checkout The Musee du Louvre, originally a royal fortress, where several hours can be spent exploring the world renowned museum which houses 35, 000 works of art. Symposia, readings, films and concerts can also be enjoyed in the auditorium.
